Position 5: Training and Development Specialist

We currently have an opening for a Training and Development Specialist position.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and implement Microsoft training manuals and course materials;
  • Develop and implement training plans for engineer and customer as an Microsoft Course Trainer;
  • Create specific training programs to help customer and its employees to maintain or improve job skills;
  • Optimize the use of technology to provide efficient, effective and user-friendly tools;
  • Keep content up to date by reviewing current publications in the industry;
  • Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials;
  • Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness;
  • Recommend changes in procedures when necessary. Review progress with management;
  • Work closely with customer to assess training needs and understand departmental goals and then relate training for optimum effectiveness;
  • Troubleshot, resolve, and coordinate software/network problems that interfere with training design or delivery and respond to user questions;
  • Perform administrative tasks such as monitor training costs, scheduling classes and coordinating enrollment.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent foreign degree in Education, HR or any related field;
  • At least five years of experience in developing and delivering training programs;
  • Current MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) Status;
  • Current MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) in Server Infrastructure or Private Cloud;
  • Experience designing Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Lync and server platform solutions;
  • Experience designing, deploying and maintaining application delivery and VDI solutions built on Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop;
  • Superb oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility to respond to frequent client questions;
  • Strong knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies and network protocols;
  • Ability to work under general supervision and to operate with substantial latitude for un-reviewed actions and/or decisions.
  • Must be able to travel.

Yearly Salary: $87,400.
